Heat Schedules
Heat Schedules (Pro) heat at set times, every week: "weekdays 6:00 to 8:00", "every night 22:00 to 6:00".
A schedule
- Days: the days a window starts on. A window that ends before it starts runs overnight, into the next day.
- What it does:
- Power Level: runs the heater at that Power Level for the whole window, then turns it off.
- King Thermostat: hands King Thermostat a target and swing for the window. It holds the room temperature until the window ends, then goes back to how it was before.
- Start late if it has to: if the phone or the heater was out of reach when the window began, it starts once back, while at least 15 minutes are left. Off by default.
When a window ends
Whatever the window started turns off: the heater's run, or King Thermostat's session. A window that starts as another one ends takes the run over instead, so the heater isn't stopped and restarted minutes apart. Windows may touch, but not overlap.
If the heater is out of reach at the end, the app keeps trying to stop it for 30 minutes once it's back, and tells you if it couldn't.
Your heater, your call
- If the heater is already running when a window starts, the window leaves it as it is, and won't turn it off at its end.
- If the heater is still cooling down, the window waits until it has finished.
- Change the heater during a window (in the app, at its panel or with a remote) and the window starts nothing more. Its end still turns off a run it started.
- Turning a schedule off, changing it or deleting it during its window asks whether to stop the heater too, or leave it running. A new end time just moves the end of the window that's on.
When it doesn't start
- It starts on time, never early. A start that can't happen within 10 minutes is skipped, never made late (unless it may start late).
- It never starts the heater while Stay-Off is on, during a CO alarm, or while the heater reports a fault.
- When a window is skipped, you get a notification saying why.
Schedules act while this phone is connected to the heater. They wake a sleeping phone exactly at each start and end when Alarms & reminders is allowed. See Always Connected.
